I've been sneaking around here at bitcointalk for quite some time now, but this is the first time I've felt the need to make a post!  New coins are launched almost every day, but I still think chc is a breath of fresh air. I’ve got a really good feeling about this one for two main reasons:

Dev:
Like many others have pointed out, the launch was excellent. You can tell that all of this is well planned and that there is a project plan to follow through. No silly logo contests, no premine, no BS. Also, you can tell that he is really passionate about this and that there is more to it than money!


As for the future, it will be really interesting to see what dev has planned. I really hope it’s something that distinguishes us from the rest of the alt-coins. Maybe something like the Bitcoin 2 Credit Card?  (Which has now disappeared, does anyone know why?) Hopefully all the other ‘must-have’-features like android and ios wallets will be ready soon.

Beside all the positive posts on this coin, it is a bit quiet imo. I'm solomining almost from the beginning and will stay with it since it is a great coin with no premining, a very smooth launch, excellent name and a dev taking care of it.

A steadily increasing of the network hashrate should be our target. To attract more miners, I think we need much more publicity, promotion, giveaways, games, apps, ... I know a lot is ongoing and will be announced soon, but the earlier the better. Maybe the community can do little bit more to support the dev. Every chc holder, especially the deep pockets, should give away more. 10-20% of your wallet will be a good investment.

I like this coin because it isn't premined and not one of the many alt-coin.
I like also the total supply, what is the need of billion and trillion of coins...be enough less but good with good idea behind.
Thinking that with the right sponsorship and a great community behind this coin would be appreciate more than other and would skyrocket very soon.

It seems to me that some segment of the community just has an insanely unrealistic expectation for the coin. This includes those that expect it to be a $1.00 coin today. Even at the low value its at right now its still one of the most profitable coins to mine. Six months ago there were probably only 1 or 2 alt coins over the 10 million market cap and now there are 10-12. Who knows how many more will cross over that threshold in the next six months? At the end of the day it all comes down to whether or not you believe the devs can offer compelling features for the coin and whether or not the user base can be grown through successful marketing approaches.
