Project #2  FAQ

Q:    How can I make an account?
A:   Please message Goat at the bitcointalk.org forum the following information, your BTC address and your email.  Account details will be sent to you shortly.

Q:    So all of my miners need to use the same name as my log in account?
A:   Yes! and do not forget it is cASe senSitIvE!

Q:   Do I need a worker password?
A:   No

Q:   Why is there a delay in my payout?
A:   Goat currently does all of the payout by hand. The payout delay should never be more than 12 hours and can be as fast as half an hour depending on the time of day. Goat has coins in storage to meet all payouts and they are not connected to the servers. Hacking will not be profitable.

Q:    Why is your front in so basic?
A:   We are in development and right now have a simple but fully working solution. We will take requests and add features to our to do list. Please contact us directly with your ideas.

Q:    What payout method do you use?
A:   We pay at percent above the expected payout of a PPS system.

Q:   How can you pay more than 100% PPS?
A:    Our primary revenue source is reselling your hashing power to large long term buyers. We collect hashing power from many small sellers and are able to direct it to a few large buyers.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Everything has been running fine.  Rejects are higher than other pools but are more than compensated with the 5% bonus.

I would give it a whirl but I'm only at 410Mhash and the card I have keeps on going up in price instead of down for buying another one.

That being said I would like to join if you would let me.

105% PPS "Project #2" now open to new members mining at 1GHash/S and up!

The PPS amount is based on the expected using the current difficulty and then multiplied times 105%      We have NO hidden fees!

We do not pay for rejected shares and you can expect to have them in the 1% to 2% range. However our bonus of 5% more than makes up for this.

If you are interested please PM me an e-mail address and a bitcoin address!

I am interested in this.  I think I am getting screwed at Deepbit.  I got 18,000 MH/s.....what is the process?

You should expect 1% to 2% of shares rejected. This is partly why we pay 105%    Smiley

after 12 hrs mining i have stales about 2.6 % (97.4 x 1.05 = 102.27 % payment)
now ~ 3.5 GH/s, running fine...

i hope this pool isn't build to attack other chains...

Yes, .5BTC and 1 time a day now.

Honestly if you can't work in that range you should not be working with us.   I was making payments at .002BTC. Not worth the time or effort since I do all this by hand:/

Thx

thanks for your hard work!

Why do you do it by hand? You can make a csv table with 2 columns: <withdrawal address>, <amount of satoshi's to send> and feed it to btcrelay.com Wink

Hi Goat, thanks for your great service. Could you add state for showing total shares of last 24 hours? This is the only one feature I miss from my previous pool(abc).

lol? Why would you want to know?

It is located in the USA and is being run by a well known American company by Americans who know all that is going on.

I think anyone would be able to find out the location anyway with a ping or two.

Because Clipse one is in the UK and I am in the UK as well so the US server would be worse than a UK one ( for me at least and for EU people as well ).

That would depend on the provider as well. Mine is very good with very good connections to Europe. I am not saying his wont be better for you but it might not.

Yeah. I like how both of you changed to 115% as a result of competiton. Now, if only Nvidia released a Kepler mining card that would be the day ! AMD mining monopoly is bad for consumers !
