Ok, I have currently 1.2 BTC invested in shibecoin on bittrex. So I've been mining and supporting Shibecoin since it first went live. All seemed well, then I leave for a 12 hours for work and all hell breaks lose. I have been in the #shibecoin channel on freenode for 6 days now. Today I was banned by "loq" because my 5000+ shibecoins in my tipwallet are gone and I asked WTF. Now bittrex has halted all trades on there exchange and everyone is up in arms about their missing coins. DAFAQ is going ON?  Buyer beware... I had faith in these guys.. Now I'm not so sure. |

Next time look at the forum and read a lot about the new coins... and not everything is a FUD you need to kind see through that.
And its not you that got banned from the channel there are at last over 100+ people that got thrown out the channel for asking to many questions.
ya the shibe dev is crazy banned about 20 people in 30 minutes including me |

It looks to me like OP got scammed, but that's just on the first look. I'd suggest that you look at other, more established coins to invest in. |

Every last little detail about ShibeCoin screamed SCAAAAMMM!!!! from Day 1.
I don't think most of you realize you are playing in the wild west right now. There are no rules, there is no justice. There's not even any reason to sink 1 penny into the vast majority of these coins.
I will likely get conned myself at some point but so far I haven't because I look the fuck out at all times.
If there's absolutely no reason to buy a coin, if it has no distinguishing features that separate it from the pack, DON'T BUY IT! The fact that it has a cool name, is at a new high or a new low in price, is irrelevant.
Marketing really only helps a coin if there's something else behind it to begin with.

The problem is that most people don't do enough research before investing in stuff. This is why many get scammed, especially in the altcoin section. |
