Here are some of the more important topics with Peercoin from the past week for those who are interested. If I have missed anything, please post it in the comments.
1. A
new proposal for cold storage minting has been posted by sigmike. The idea is that it will first be tested for use in Peershares, and could then possibly be used in Peercoin if it was deemed suitable by the community.
2. There was a chat between Sunny King (Peercoin) and Daniel Larimer (Bitshares) this week in the PeercoinTalk chatbox. You can read the full transcript
here.
3. You can now get tipped 10 PPC for setting up a Peercoin node on your Raspberry Pi! Find out more
here.
4. A major evolution for Peer4Commit
has been announced. A wide range of changes are planned involving control of the funds, handling more types of projects, and adding multiple currencies. It could even possibly be the first implementation of Peershares.
5. There have also been
discussions on how the compensation method for PoS minting could theoretically be changed to increase the incentive.
Here is
last week's review in case you missed it. Also consider visiting the
PeercoinTalk forum to stay up to date with all Peercoin and Peershares development.
