If I were him, most probably I would read this forum and even participate here de incognito. In fact, I´m mostly sure he is between us, looking astonished how his baby evolves out of his control.

Time to use the collective intelligence. Let´s catch him!

I guess it is likely that some components of the satoshi nakamoto collective are indeed active members of this forum.

I don't think he does, while he might be checking stuff and following up things, I doubt he/them, are tightly involved and following every single thing happening to bitcoin, If I was him, I would split my time into supporting bitcoin and I would be working or trying to find the next big thing, with all the BTC he has he could invest in several interesting startups that have great technical ideas, that what i'd do personally while at the same time preparing for an early and nice retirement plan.

I think catching Satoshi is going to be like trying to catch Roadrunner, very amusing for onlookers but totally infuriating for the people trying to catch him, I'm sure we'll have many more Dorian Nakamoto incidents in the future, whoever he/she or they are, Satoshi knows how to stay hidden and knows how public the internet is and the way it works.

Good luck, I'll be sitting back and laughing at you Smiley

Amusing? Highly. I could just imagine it now:

Bounty for catching the REAL Satoshi Nakamoto - 6KBTC + Jackpot

"He's Satoshi Nakamoto!"

"No I'm Satoshi Nakamoto!"

"She's Satoshi Nakamoto!"

"I patented Satoshi Nakamoto!"

"My name is Satoshi Nakamoto!"

"I am a Nakamoto!"

This was discussed in multiple threads over the time. I myself believe that he is here under one or more usernames. He might even post from time to time, but one can't really know who Satoshi might be.

I'm sorry but there really was any need to create this thread as I have seen a fresh thread on this earlier today whether Satoshi posted or not...

I think that because bitcoin has become so big that the user satoshi has no choice but to wonder and crawl these boards keeping an eye on his "Baby"

so the answer to the Op is YES
I also think that being exposed would be dangerous these days. Especially if they knew his real name.

How can you be sure that SNakamoto is a collective?. I don´t say it´s not, just that we can´t know for sure... unless you belong to the collective Wink

Why there´s that urban myth about Satoshi been a collective?

It's just common sense deduction...I think it is unlikely that a single person could do everything alone, it is something too big and embracing too many different disciplines...anyway there is obviously still a chance that Satoshi was just a single person, in that case he/she would really be closer to a demigod than to a human, like a modern Prometheus (no Frankenstein references intended) Cheesy
