hey guys i have an issue, not related to mining...my laptop running windows xp, i use a wired mouse. I can move the mouse then it stops, does not respond then after a few seconds it does respond...i have googled the issue, and it points to issues with my usb port. when i look at my usb ports, i can see that under the device manager the usb ports disappear and reappear, after every time i move my mouse...anyone have any suggestions?

...and preferably sooner rather than later as this malfunction might damage your USB controller circuit.

Remove the mouse before it causes damage. I had a problem with my mouse which led to a a chain of events that caused a lot of money. Starting with a new motherboard, it also ruined my mtgox usb so I can't even access my account.
