I just heard about this on the last On the Edge with Max Keiser.

You can't even buy an ounce of gold for 1000 Euro.  Governments don't want you buying any assets that they don't know about and can't take away.  This can only be good for the future of Bitcoins.

Yeah, kind of shooting themselves in the foot every time they make their crappy currencies even less useful.

Maybe they do?

So? Some people manage to avoid an unfairness, and instead of wishing more people could do the same, you prefer to forbid people to avoid unfairness at all?
This is like a slave that, instead of dedicating his effort in trying to escape, prefers to dedicate his efforts in trying to help his masters catch those who already managed to escape.

Try to find your way to evade/avoid taxes too. Maybe bitcoin can help you one day. Wink

0/10 trolling

There is like 300 billions euros EVADED every year in italy, guess why that country is in a so bad shape? Guess why Greece is worser than italy? Exact, only greece has a tax evasion rate higher than italy in europe.

So please take your fail "unfairness" thing, it makes no sense.

The only unfairness here is that so many people can avoid to pay taxes. And despite that there is a healthcare system much better than USA where poor->you die and all others problems.

It's the truth, it's not an anecdote.

I don't know if it's the truth or not, but it's definitely an anecdote

Please... Italy and Greece are in bad shape precisely due to the pornographic spendings their governments have been promoting in order to feed their demagogue programs. It's not by giving more money to these parasites that these societies will get better.

The only unfairness here is that so many people can avoid to pay taxes.

What? It's unfair that people can protect the result of their labor from thieves?
Great, now self-defense is criminal, robbery is legitimate. It remembers the classic quote: "War is Peace, Slavery is Freedom, Ignorance is Strength".
