Capital Restaurant Nasi Dagang in Malaysia Accepting Bitcoin
Bitcoin continues to expand into our everyday lives with Malaysia getting its first Bitcoin restaurant this Sunday for Mothers Day (see announcement). The restaurant has received a great feedback from customers and now, to attract more people hungry for East Coast dishes they decided to add Bitcoin payment method that is powered by Arsyan, the CEO of Ked.ai.
Ked.ai is a mobile online marketplace that works to make selling goods for such merchants like Capital Restaurant Nasi Dagang easier.
Moreover, the restaurant also hosts Weekly Bitcoin Meetups for anyone interested in Bitcoin and crypto-currencies.
Capital Nasi Dagang was opened last year in Damansara Uptown as a place with traditional Malaysian food restaurant. Despite the traditional menu, the restaurant definitely up with the times given their approach to digital currencies.
The progressive family business is run by four family members –Foo, his wife, and two children.
The original Kelantan shop was set up in the 1960s, and ownership was transferred to Foo’s mother-in-law in the early 1990s. Since then the family managed to expand their business and has gained a worthy reputation as a Malay restaurant.
Capital Restaurant Nasi Dagang is open everyday form 9am till 5pm.
