Hi guys,

2 Weeks ago my GPU exploded for some unknow reason ,

So I have warranty so they give me my money back,

The question is : Should I buy backs these graphics cards?  Or better invest in Asics?  (we heard about a lot of scams or weak ROI ...)

Guys I need your advices thanks Smiley

I doubt if you can get a decent ASIC with the price of one GPU, unless you're planning to add some more from your pocket. Even 5-chip Gridseed unit costs more.

You better buy some high-end GPU and put it on X11 coins.

Scrypt has no future.

The reason why you see less sha256 coins today is cause of ASICs.

And like with SHA256 ASIC miners, they'll get outdated quickly, leaving you with good-for-nothing hardware. See those used USB ASIC miners selling cheap on ebay?

Buy coins with fiat  Smiley

Or you could get a few Gridseed ASICs that will never mine the equivalent in LTC that you could buy with their purchase price.

In fact, I could sell you some Gridseeds  Wink

I would recommend stay in fiat unless you have free electricity.

True , if you have free electricity , mining will earn you more or less , otherwise ROI with new Asic miners will be taking long time .

you can buy 750ti and mine x11, they are very good at mine this algo, 2.2MH/s for 120 euro, it's a no brainer if you have already all the others components

Does 750Ti mine X11 at 2.2 MH/s? I am really interested.

Yes, I've heard from several people the 750Ti will mine x11 at around 2MH/s.

yeah it does, that's about one 280x hashrate, without the new optimized version of sgminer, which isn't worth it because it was released by someone who implemented a code to gain 2% fee from your mining, also there is some bug in it

I'd say keep it in GPU, ASIC is too much risk for far to little rewards!

Buy 1 or 2 280X and you'd be mining at 1.5 Mh/s scrypt! For a few 100$, and you can resell them, with ASIC's thats a much harder job...

Nice! My HD7950 gives me only 1.8 MH/s and eats a lot of power. I know 750Ti uses a lot less power and gives 2.2 MH/s? That's impressive.
So I can resale my HD7950 and can point a 750Ti (which costs less) to DarkCoin Grin

that is my plan also, sadly even with this efficiency roi remain very hard to achieve, unless you are lucky with instamine
