Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to find out the ISBN or bar code of Cointerra's TerraMiner IV?
We have been trying to contact Cointerra, but as per usual, no replies from their side.

1. I don't think it's a book, so you probably meant EAN / UPC Wink
2. Miners with bar codes?  What is this madness you speak of? Cheesy

There are QR code stickers on the front of new units.

Which encode..what?  I mean, technically some of the older ones had 'a barcode' as well, but that was just a datamatrix format of the serial number.

Edit: Found some shots of the front stickers - looks like it's the same thing, probably to make scanning easier on their end.  Does little for retail, though;
back side, scans easily, should result in the serial #.
front side, barely scans but you can see they're the same.

That's what I was referring to. You are correct, it's a Data Matrix code, not a QR code; in any case, a 2D barcode.

There probably isn't any Global Trade Item Number or anything like that, if that's what the OP is requesting. It's not exactly a retail product.

Yeah, from their facebook, it looks like they 'need' it to get it listed on Amazon.  There's others for sale there, so I'm guessing they might be trying to add it to the wrong category, or missed something that lets them skip it.  Looks like in the past you'd either have to try and sneak it into a category it doesn't belong in, or talk to an Amazon tech support rep to get an exception made for your listing.  What a pain Smiley
