Hey guys,
I got a cointerra terraminer and Ive noticed that is only hashing at half of the speed plus in the back side of the machine one of the psu is showing a orange light instead a solid green. Anybody have any idea what could be going wrong with it??

It means the power supply is likely failing. I actually just had this happen to one of my hosting clients yesterday. We contacted Cointerra support and look to either RMA the unit or get a replacement sent out with instruction on doing a swap.

where can I get the model of the psu for a replacement?? my machines are out of warranty  |

Anyone else have really high temps reported in the CoinTerra firm ware??
I got this thing in a Tier2 data center with a A/C vent pointed at it AND a heat chimney and it still runs hotter than the surface of the sun.......

Same here initial 30 days the TMiV ran at 80> now it runs at 90 and even I've seen it at 110 also in an AC room at 68, I've had to open the miner and clean the unit it seems that some cores run way hotter than others, I think I will be redoing the thermal paste to some MX-4 type heard from other miners that the paste sometimes is not sufficient .

I saw a thread about those issues, this guy fixed those issues with changing the thermal compound. I might do that with this machine that is having issues and see what happens. My warranty is no longer effective since I bought the machine from ebay. Ill post some pictures before and after see if there any changes on temps.
Back to the original topic where can i find a replacement PSU for a cointerra??

Pull out the power supply and look at the model number. Its just a standard server power supply. Cointerra miners should run around at 60f at 80f room temp. If they run hotter then that then replace the thermal paste with high quality thermal paste. Then give it a few days to set before comparing before and after temp stats.

Try to replace the power supply and see if that helps. It worked for me on one of mine.

1.6 and up, if it gets hot then a bit less. |
