hi guys
I am still new around and I made one very stupid mistake today, that's the reason i am writing in the first place.
God it took me ages to login i have alreayd forgotten my password but i am glad i am logged in! i need help!

I made a TERRIBLE mistake while trading. I made a trade at btcpromo.net because they allow withdrawing usd to paypal without giving them any personal information, so i decided to make one transaction of 1.1 bitcoins.

I just send them 11 bitcoins instead of 1.1 bitcoins (have no idea how i forgot or mistype the dot). I started panicking, because i marked the trade as 1.1 bitcoins but later sent manually 11 bitcoins.
Can i get refund for the other 9.9 BTC back to my wallet? Or how this goes? i don't really want to change all of my bitcoins into dollars, i want only one...

Please tell me what should i do, i already sent an email to them  (support@btcpromo.net).  Is there any other e-mail address for urgency? ?
Please tell me and help me! i am not so experienced and i want this to be solved quikc...

Glad you got the BTC back.  This happens pretty often, it's really amazing to me.  When sending anything over like .01 btc I ALWAYS make sure I send the right amount.  Take a breath next time.  I wish there was some sort of confirmation needed on all wallets before sending?

I don't know who those guys are but if they refund 11 btc they cannot be a scam, can they?

The first few trades go all right (I've made a few), but then they stick you after the fact. What happened to me is I sent 1 btc and before receiving payment, I sent the other btc. They said this caused a "merge," which is absolutely absurd because bitcoin doesn't work that way. They then prompted me to send 2 more btc because it would "fix" the issue (if you need proof, I will gladly screenshot the email upon request). They said it would take a week to resolve the issue... This was nearly 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard back since, after multiple emails.

Look, try it at your own risk, but if you're looking to donate bitcoins, I'm more than ready to accept.

Also, try calling the number listed on their website, like I did. It is a REAL ESTATE company, not affiliated with btcpromo.net at all.

Please, for your own sake, do NOT send money to these frauds. They are either scammers or selective scammers.

That would be my best guess. As I said, I can provide PROOF of their scams if need be. If you are hesitant in ANY way, please contact me and I will steer you clear of these slimy shits.

Also pretty odd that the OP received exactly 11BTC just before he "accidentally" sent exactly 11BTC to the website.

That's quite a coincidence.
