Hey I would like to apply for this writing job.

I am fluent in the english language.  I am in my second year at university.  I excelled at English in high school, achieving extremely high grades.

I can easily deliver a 500 word article within a couple of hours.

"News values" refers to newsworthiness.  How much emphasis to place on articles based on personal judgements as well as audience reaction.  Many more conditions factor into this however.
