Post editted.

Due to the fact there are some security concerns from the behaviour of HKCEX (removing https encryption),
for the time being, I will like to study them somemore before drawing conclusion.

For now, all I will say is, HKCEX is a new exchange, people should practice vigil and see if this new exchange becomes good in time.

Tr8kr, I decided to ask their admin for you, and got a reply:

to me
Dear Kevorsen,

We have our internal security checks and suspend some accounts for suspicious activity.
Anyway, we contact each user to resolve every issue

Also please note that first withdrawals usually takes up to 3 business days to be approved.

I will urge everyone to always exercise their own judgement when working with money on the internet.
As a follow community member, I too remind myself to double check everything too.

I think it is a good thing that they are so responsive on my questionings, which for now I take as a good sign.
For now I find their answer satisfactory, what do you think?
I will sure be watching. Please let me know if your case is resolved.

I did give them feedback, saying the crypto world is use to a faster deposit/withdrawal schedule, especially with Worldcoin we like to brag about our fast transaction times, and worldshield, which makes time warp attacks impossible practically.  My understanding is that they are in testing phases, and want to be sure there's no such thing as double payment bugs, etc. Which to me, makes sense. If I am starting an exchange, I will have security concerns too.. we will see. Smiley

Please do let me know if anyone experience anything else. Smiley
For now, I think they are trying hard to meeting the crypto worlds demand.
time will tell, for now we should all try and test a new platform that can do credit card biz. Smiley  strong potential.

Let's hope they keep improving. and again, I remind everyone to always be vigil on the internet, there are new comers, but occasional there can be trolls.
only time will tell who is who. Smiley  I adopt the 'be kind' attitude, and allow people to earn us their trust. Time will tell, we all spectators and making history in the crypto world together.

Kevorsen, I seen that my withdrawal status rejected and required to contact them, and now the fund is on lockdown, do you have other email apart from the standard contact@hkcex.net? As you know, their response is close to none. I hope you can help me on this.Thank you.

Yes I have a fair lot of WDC locked inside too.
the latest email I had from them was this one, but this is 2days ago.
I am getting more worried about them not being as solid as we hoped.

Dear Kevorsen,

Just for your information - we've signed a trading agreement with Hang Seng Bank.last week.
This bank will invest about $9M in crypto-currencies during the 2014.
They will run their trade robot on HKCEx by Monday.
You can monitor the activity of WDC trades using our Trading Desk.

kevorsen,
Hang seng bank is a conservative bank in hong kong. i am very doubt they will start trading cypto currencies in this early stage.
furthermore they dont have a prop desk, so how would they add a trading robot to hkcex.
it is totally a lie to me.

Dear Kevorsen,

Our service is under massive DDoS attack. We're moving to CloudFlare. All coins are in cold storage, there are no database leaks.
Our techs work hard to get HKCEx back online as soon as possible
.
Thank you for patience and understanding.

Sorry, no photo (I'm lazy)

I still can't get to the site.  HOWEVER it is showing a cloudflare error page saying that it's the host that's offline, not cloudflare.  How can I check the veracity of this claim?
