Coinbase Giving $10 Worth of Free Bitcoin to College Students

$10 - not a lot, but I know that $10 in hands of a student increase its value Smiley

And as for now bitcoin price is pretty low, so good moment to collect your free $10 from them (if you are a student Tongue )

Coinbase, a popular online digital wallet, has started a new initiative to give $10 worth of free Bitcoin to college students who create a new Coinbase account. A .edu email address must be used to prove that the one applying for an account is really a college student. This effort began as a way to attract college students to Bitcoin.

The online digital wallet company writes that it was inspired by the two MIT students who were able to raise enough money to give $100 worth of free Bitcoin to 4,500 undergraduates. Giving away free Bitcoin will allow the students, who’ve never heard of Bitcoin, the chance to experiment and understand its capabilities.

Wow, this is one of the best articles I've seen. I'm surprised that more people have not commented.
Bitcoin in the hands of the next generation of consumers is huge. Just giving them the $10 worth is smart because it incentivizes them to learn how to use (send/receive) and integrate bitcoin. Also, should inspire young minds into opening more bitcoin business.
I know Coinbase didn't think of this on their own (took it from the MIT experiment), but massive kudos to them for this initiative. This is long term thinking at its finest!
