It's called leverage and liquidations on Bitcoinica. It would take significantly less capital than $1m to do this since a small change in price can cause a snowball effect of liquidations on bitcoinica.

Not a chance... It will take approximately $1M.

How much did it take to push us from $3 to $7 in such short order? I thought that was impossible until I saw it happened and I am pretty sure it required more capital than $1m.

I am not saying we are going up from here but what I am saying is that anything is possible.
