Search for vanity addresses or check these:

Be careful with using online generators though. Sometimes they're not secure or are scams.

This. I cannot stress enough how important it is to generate your own private keys. Please don't do it unless they support split key generation an even then make sure they are using it and not just lying.

If you have a decent graphics card, use oclvanitygen - it searches for more keys per second. Try checking out either sam7's or the Lifeboat one (the latter has improved support for AMD cards IIRC).

Bitcoin is designed around disposable addresses to protect anonymity. If you reuse your special vanity address, you may loose that anonymity. Reusing addresses also slightly lowers your address security. Not enough to jeopardise your coins, but you should be aware of that fact.

I don't think people who want vanity addresses are that bothered about remaining anoymous  Grin.

I wouldn't trust vanity addresses. It's not worth the risk to me.

Really you never know. The vanity addr generator tries to match your characters randomly. The less character u take, the more chances u have ...thats all.

Also, it depends on the number of special characters and the case sensitivity of the address.

Vanity addresses are not safe to use as people can identify from specific letters In your address, so vanity addresses should be used only for "public use" forum games or something else where you wouldn't store your real bitcoin wealth.

These are called vanity addresses, You can mine them even in pools and the more specific you need the more hash/time. You can find more in bitcoin wiki (just google it and add vanity addresses)

I dont recommend vanity address to anyone.

IF you know enough on the vanity gen, and can see its easy to use your self go ahead.

But, most people I have spoken get confused despite how simple it can be.

I can add details with the links later, but you should look up on this on your own in the mean time. Just stick with normal btc address thats created from your wallet, so the coins you have wont go anywhere.
