Circle Reveals Roadmap for Bringing Bitcoin to Mainstream Market

"In their place, Circle plans to offer a secure network architecture audited by a national cybersecurity firm, one that will incorporate best practices such as multi-signature transactions and offline cold storage vaults, as well as free insurance on deposits."

i think thats big news. no insurance costs and no fees when you convert USD to btc and also a clean layout, instant deposite and withdraw - wow! take a look at the video. i guess thats the next step in bitcoin services.

what do you think?

I think this is huge. It seems to be as easy to use as Paypal. I think currently bitcoin is too difficult to use for the average Joe. Also, mainstream might think bitcoin is not secure. Circle might be the answer for these difficulties. This is what is needed for bitcoin to become more popular.

IMO we need services like: Circle + Dark Wallet + Bitcoin ETF + decentralized exchanges + Open Bazaar for bitcoin to be really powerful. Something for everyone.

Seems good, but let us see if people will use it, and if the gov won't screw it. By using terms like deposit and withdraw they might be classified like a banking institution, or anything else that will make their business inviable
