Guys, We are pleased to release the official A2 28nm Miners from MinerEU. Of course with our new partner who is making effort to establish an U.S. LA based distribution and logistic base -- JUSTASIC.com but until it is established, they are shipping from mainland china with SF-Express if needed. minereu.comThe A2BOX/A2MINI Miners are using 28nm chips and therefore have great advantage on power consumption. it draw 1/3 of the power vs 55nm chips like Zeus and Gridseed chips. All Scrypt Miners on market today either use Zeus 55nm Chips (Hashra/GAW) or Gridseed's GC3355. Innosilicon is the only 28nm Chips that is not an preorder. More technical details can be found on our website minereu.com and justasic.com Some highlights: 1, 28nm chip. 750W power draw for A2BOX(84M) and 250W Power draw for A2MINI(28M) 2, Plug and Play setup. The A2BOX and A2MINI has built-in power supply unit and Raspberry Pi controller. You can control and watch them mining from your iPad/iPhone/PC Browser. no need to buy accessories and go through setup processes.3, reasonable pricing well, you can let us know if it is not Picture time more on our website: A2MINI (2Module) MinerEU has prepared Scrypta interface for the A2 miner
you can check out the source here:https://github.com/MinerEU/scripta_a2 and install with one command on your pi : replace the original SD card with a new Rasbian SD card or follow instructions. curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MinerEU/scripta_a2/master/install.sh|bash Please email us for more details: contactus@minereu.com or simply post your question in this topic.

I just received my A2BOX. How can it be accessed? Neither a LAN Scan helps to identify the device nore the router does.

The sticker only shows the last digits of the IP address. Would be helpful to know that. Furthermore you can only access it when you are in the same subnet (192.168.1....) which makes it harder to find using LAN Scanners...

I am not sure why LAN scan didn't work, maybe it's in a different subnet. We are thinking of make it even easier to setup. probably using wifi

Seriously - isn't the miner set up with DHCP for wired LAN and WIFI?
How do you access or set new IP without crossover cable?

How does that assign IP to the subnet you're on.....? Autosense is about speed, and thus only relevant when IP is set and host connected to the switch/network (subnet mask, default gateway, etc.) http://www.techopedia.com/definition/2149/autosense

Sorry: I don't need a crossover cable. Normal one works. Is it autoneogating? The subnet you have to know.

Again - this has nothing to do with speed! You cannot discuss speed issues/protocols when your miner is not assigned an IP of the LAN.
Your laptop is on a LAN, and from your ipconfig /all, you can see the IP/subnet/mask/default gateway.
As several people have suggested, the miner is hardcoded with static IP - let's say it is 192.168.1.111. Your computer is on a LAN with let's say IP address 192.168.32.123, with a default gateway 192.168.32.1 which is also a DHCP server.
With this you cannot administer the miner, as it's on a different subnet, and there is no routing table set up between the two.
The only way you can administer the miner is if the miner sends a DHCP broadcast and the DHCP server (192.168.32.1) answers with the available IP address, which then becomes the miner's address.
If you have a private network with e.g. 192.168.32.* and are able to connect and administer the miner, then your miner is a DHCP client, which is exactly what I was concerned it is not.
I suspect you've changed your LAN's IP to accomodate the miner.
PS: A crossover cable is used for connecting two IP-devices directly without a switch in between - when you do not have a LAN. Your laptop and miner is connected via ports on a switch, or you use a USB wifi dongle.

when i know the subnet i can manually set the ip of my eth interface and connect the miner directly to laptop lan port. and yes normaly you need a crossover cable but I dont like many modern network chips, they are switching the two lanes that are crossed in a crossovercable automaticly

I tested out the scripta .... for the A2 somehow I'm getting problems saving pools ... it removes the '+' sign from stratum+tcp ... and saves it like that in the config ... "url": "stratum tcp:\/\/eu.ltcrabbit.com:3333", anyone else having this issue?

hi minereu.com, I really want to buy a scrypt miner and sent 2 emails to you in last days. But have not received a reply. Are you still selling or what? Your website is not working almost all day - it needs to refresh page several times to get it load - but does not work it every time I try.
