Exactly, the independent pow/pos system is great and will allow lightning fast transaction time (under 5 seconds because of pos).

I've been amazed at the tx speed while using Jackpotcoin, the first coin whom created the successful pos feature.
The developers managed to get the independent pow/pos system to work flawlessly including the randomized superblock rewards (single jackpot for jpc) by using the following block to confirming the "winning" block prior. I'm sure if you check the code, they've used the exact same features without any mention to the jackpotcoin devs.

Pretty sad if you ask me. But nonetheless, this coin will be successful by incorporating these two features with the added x11 craze.
