The Komi-Izhem are a small nomadic reindeer-herding tribe, who numbers only around 10,000. However, recently the Russian oil giant Lukoil has seized a considerable portion of their native land nearthe Ural mountains, destroying the native vegetation and making it unsuitable for reindeer-herding.

It really amazes me...NOT... that Gazprom would do such terrible things , just like the US and EU companies.

It is not the Gazprom which is stealing their land. Gazprom is basically a natural gas extracting company (although JSC Gazprom Neft, one of its subsidiaries engage in petroleum extraction). The culprits here are OAO Lukoil, owned by the billionaire oligarch Vagit Alekperov (who is originally from Azerbaidzhan). Lukoil is the second largest oil company in Russia, and Alekperov is in good terms with Putin.
