Up front, I can see people not necessarily being aware of the fact that they're holding BTC but let's face it, this is born out of BTC territory. Also, when the price starts making a rally people will feel like they're at a casino and constantly checking their account. That will, however, drive them to tell their friends and spread the word about it and spring more usage. This concept could really mainstream things w/o getting all technical and stuff.
