There's something wrong with the http://cake.cryptopool.eu/ pool...

It says the last solved block was 2+ hours ago, but according to my cgminer I've solved 3 blocks myself in the past hour!  Sad

Feel free joining my pool here Wink

Working fine since i fixed the issues yesterday:

cake.poolsofhonor.com

seems like the cronjobs are broken again on the other pool.

Get some action - quickly... Don't make Bittrex Ritchie's efforts look waste of time and money...

Just got back from somethings, investigating issue.

Seems like the cronjobs are broken again on the other pool.

I believe this is the issue. I have sent a pm to the pool operator.

All pools whether running MPOS or not should really switch to NOMP for the back end these days.

It's so much more efficient, and there's no random dead cronjobs or stuck share processing to worry about.

Also bittrex rules!

It will be fun to see how this plays out on the exchanges.  Smiley

Our block reward setup is unlike any other coins that I know of.

For sure, best time to hoard coins is when they 1st hit the exchanges!

No, that is not true, you are mining, but sometimes script updating the website get stuck, but as long as you are mining and getting shares in your miners, you are fine!

Problem with the updates has been solved and you should see the updates in a minute or two. Not a single coin has been lost from your mining. Stratum is completely separated from the statistics you see in the website and it is running fine (and has had no service interruption since we set up the pool).

We will become more popular at block 20,000.

Until then the difficulty will stay very low. As I expected, this is good for little guys and people who would like to try solo mining.

coin dead?

Nope, people are probably waiting for the block reward to quadruple to 5000 at block 20000.
After block 30000 the reward will reduce for some time. Should bring in more miners and investors.

Lots of coins and premine. I'm out!

Most of the premine has used for the giveaway and the bountys.

I only have 850,000 coins left from the premine, the giveaway still has a few hundred thousand left to be given away.
