A login box pops up for me. Guess they are doing some kind of front end maintenance would be my assumption.

Not dead but dying... ever since conception.

500 errors
503 errors
missing funds
delayed deposits
delayed withdrawals
5 minute wait times to regain funds from cancelled trades
users able to double spend

It's a sad sad sad state of affairs.

i wish BigVern would USE THE FUCKING TWITTER ACCOUNT to tell people what the hell is going on. A heads up would be great.

The other day I didn't even know they added Damacoin, after they skipped it over for so many weeks, took it off the voting list after it was number one for several weeks, then all of a sudden it gets a stealth, ninja add to the LTC market.

It seems that Cryptsy is only good at fucking up lately.

Mintpal is amazing at updating their users on when the site is going down for maintenance.

Works fine here.
I also used to get some occasion 500s in the past, which usually goes away quickly.

https://www.cryptsy.com/

Isn't that how most exchanges disappeared?

I had 500 error too, but I immediately checked BigVerns twitter, and saw that it was all planned maintenance.

The moment an exchange disappears without notice, you know you have to worry...

If you include server 500/503 downtimes, error code messages upon trying to login, frozen trading for 'maintenance' then there have been more like 20 or so service 'outages'.
