I strained the tendons in the sole of my foot by running too much. I've run about 79 miles this month, at my job, which happens to be newspaper delivery. Tongue Classy employment.

I live in Minnesota, and it is currently winter...

In regards to the bike, I was actually planning on building one for commuting, using a 1000w motor, AGM batteries and a NuVinci CVT hub...
This is also something that would work way better if it were summer here.

A bike with snow tires?
Do you ride much in the winter/snow? It's generally unpleasant, even with road tires to cut through the snow...
It's also hard to fit a bike into my SL1 to drive 25 miles to the route...  Roll Eyes

Saturn SL1, sorry. It is a car... I've been running this route for 6 years now, and driving that rust bucket since before I had my license...
Paper routes just aren't what they used to be with the bikes and kids actually being able to do them. It requires a vehicle, and physical fitness... Tongue

I've got an idea. How about walking? It's good exercise, cheap, get to see more at 3 MPH, etc. Myself, I get around by truck. I know that sounds weird after suggesting to you to walk, but the truth of the matter is that my foot hurts.
