Hey... can you take Reddcoin (RDD) as collateral?

https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/169
https://poloniex.com/exchange/BTC_REDD
https://www.bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-RDD

I'm looking for .4 BTC loan (not a newbie here). Repayment can be anywhere between 2-8 days and I will pay the said 1% daily interest compounded for each additional day.

Well it looks like there are almost no buyers for RDD... except for a few big ones.  If they close their trade, it's all over xD
How much RDD are you offering?  I need a large amount to fund this loan as for it is not a well known coin.

Ok... sent 11 million RDD through two transactions:
10,500,000: 2e65e2a739131c333a3c9edec592399cf657a3efbe295a8ff0ac94c1b4271127
500,000: 5bf378dfbee8266d4f3f3a8138ff534eca72c90cae6870b74dfa95999c101ab8

My BTC address is: 1A9tF4Pd2A5VeHGMJpsNtksmatWBUwXgQj

Repaid loan and got collateral back. Everything went well. Positive feedback left Smiley

Pinkcoin Donations Address ---> PINK: PB9TmJXZTqzLroz9cLzCQe2cNWzEwJeq5g | BTC: 14Yxxxxko19qtLi3k2yvtWQ54vSQg2mLjB <---

This loaning thread is still very much open.
Also, I'm planning to allow no-interest loans for certain requests. Smiley

INTEREST FREE LOANS

Alright, so now I have decided to provided interest free loans.  Tips will obviously be accepted, but not required.  To apply for an interest free loan, your loan must be applied for charitable causes or for the good of others.  If you are not a trusted member, I won't believe you, and there will be no point in requesting for an interest free loan.

Also, I am willing to provided interest free loans to trusted members; members that have conducted many trades here.  This is simply to reward them for contributing to our community, sort of like a "veteran bonus".

The Original Post has been updated.

Forgot to edit that all loans have been repaid successfully, and on time Smiley

I am still offering more loans, willing to go up to ~0.9 BTC as long as you have a valid collateral!

Monbux, it might not mean much, but I'd like to say I really do respect and in a sense admire what you are doing.
Offering interest free loans for people here and possibly supporting a good cause in the process is deserving of acknowledgement
in some form I guess.

I'd like to send a small tip your way even though I'm not taking a loan out.  Could you list your address?

Thank you very much.  I'm not that heroic though, compared to you and your no-collateral-required loans Tongue
Keep your tip, buy yourself a beer man Wink  Thanks a lot!

But hey, if you have a friend who happens to be trustworthy with a charitable loan cause and just once again happens to have a stable altcoin collateral, just refer him to me, would you? Tongue

Will Bitcoin Rise Again to $60,000?

why do you think that people with 110% of altcoins as a collateral would want a loan from you? they can sell their altcoins to get btc.

The same reason that people don't sell their house when they want a car loan. If people expect the price of an altcoin to rise if they were to sell it and buy it back again they would buy back less than initially - however if it is used as collateral they don't have to worry about that issue.

Hehe, nice comparison. Smiley

Remember the collateral Smiley

Yet another week has past, let us sit back and turn on the TV.  Fifa world cup.  Also, Monbux is offering microloans!  Yay!

A 0.95 BTC loan has been provided to yogg for a term of 4 weeks.  For full details, check here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=652617.0
That is currently all the funds I have for loaning, will update once I get more! Smiley  Will get more in a week or less (33% repayment in 1 week.)

So I've noticed that a lot of competitors are copying my loan template.  That's great, to see people asking for collateral (remember to use escrow for un-trusted members!)  But I still think mine is the best Wink  Currently still many BTC to lend, shoot me a PM and we can get started on a loan deal. Smiley

None! Mine is best  Grin

Seriously though, there must be someone available to lend when you exhaust your available funds.

I have got another 0.4 BTC for loaning purposes - shoot me a PM or post your request here!  Please don't bother me if you don't have a valid collateral Smiley

Have a nice afternoon,
Monbux

Still open, still have 0.4 BTC to lend!

I have another 0.75 BTC to lend.  Remember, collateral, collateral, collateral.  shoot me a PM!

Still have more BTC to lend.  I am considering loaning some very trusted users without requiring collateral.  Not sure yet though.

What monthly interest would you ask on that?

Well, I guess that would depend entirely on the borrower's reputation and his reason for the loan.
I would require some sort of profit though Tongue

*Offering loans without collateral for special users.  PM me if you really need it.*
Do not bother me if you don't have one of the following:

- a solid reputation
- a good reason
- *preferred if you traded with me in the past

Just a beta thing right now, we'll see how it goes.

I pmed you an offer for one of your microloans... Please reply back, even if to discourage it.

I know I have no collateral to give you, but I did offer a second idea that involves you not giving me the loan.

In my case it would be AAA+ cryptostocks bond acquisition. Loan duration 30-60-90 depending on the type of bond, ratio etc.

I do not know if purchased stocks can be offered as collateral. I am new to the site.

Just curious, what do you gain from giving out an interest-free loan with no collateral?

I'd like to borrow 0.8 BTC until Friday July 18th.

I have to cover an order for 1.85 BTC.
0.8 of it is hung up through Coinbase until Friday eve.
I can transfer as many AM shares through Havelock as you need for collateral.

I think it's awesome that lending in our community has matured to the point where you can take/make a loan with little risk on either side of the transaction.
I have to say, it would have never done that without the help of some of our senior members keeping lenders and lendees honest.  I have a lot of respect for Vod, DiamondCards and their ilk.

No longer the wild-west with lending.
