Shop Overview

We are hard at work reorganizing the entire shop in order to streamline operations. These images were taken a few days ago so that we can illustrate the progress that is made. For more images and further details you can check out the full Imgur Album.

Birds Eye View

A birds eye view of the entire complex.

Building 1 Warehouse

This is the main warehouse. Things were a little condensed prior to leasing the third building but these images were taken after we moved a lot of the excess to the new warehouse so that we could reorganize from scratch. Mostly used for storage and parting out appliances but the refrigerators on the left are plugged in to be checked. Not shown is a parts room and area and a washer and dryer hookup to test units.

Not Shown: The front area of building one is now used to check standard refrigerators, shipping parts that were sold and as office space.

Bay Area

The bay is between warehouse one and two and has mostly been used as non appliance storage as well as unloading. After reorganizing the back part will be used to store scrap appliances before they are parted out and put in the scrap dumpster to be sold and for non appliance storage.

Building 2 Warehouse

This warehouse was previously used for additional appliance storage. Also, there are some organized parts in shopping carts towards the back.

Not Shown: Two washing machine hookups where additional units are tested.

Building 2 Front Area

The entire front area of building two is used to test side by side refrigerators as it has a large front door and consists of two rooms. This area holds around 13 side by side refrigerators that can be plugged in at the same time. Only part of one room is shown, more images in full album.

Building 2 Warehouse

The warehouse of building three is where we moved a lot of items in order to reorganize the rest of the shop. Once we get done with those we will be pulling out all items and putting them in their designated spot. The back of warehouse three will be used for part storage and the front as an overflow to the showroom.

Not Shown: There is a workstation and washer and dryer hookup on the front end of the warehouse that will be used to test appliances.

Parts Everywhere

We have been moving all parts that need to be cataloged and listed for sale into the warehouse on building three. Most of these shopping carts are full of parts that are to be listed for sale.

Scrap Dumpster

After working parts are removed from non repairable appliances the unit is placed in a scrap dumpster and sold by weight.

Showroom

The showroom shown is in building three which was just leased on the 15th of May. The front of the warehouse  directly connected to this showroom will be used for an overflow showroom as needed.

There are a few more pictures in the full album found here. We will also post images showing the progression of this reorganization as possible.

Hey everyone, I was on the road working for most of today and the only other person that would know how to post a report was out.

I am filthy so going to go take a shower and a nap and come back late night to do the report for both the 26th and 27th and make those payments.

Yesterday was dead from the holiday, today was slow due to a local storm. Things are going great, have some help coming tomorrow for parts and some other things so we can get that income up ASAP.

Talk soon

I need one of those LG shelves that can pull out to be a full shelf or fold in to only be half a shelf to allow taller items on the shelf below it to still fit.  Can pay in BTC if you have one.

Don't have any of those, I've never seen one come in either.

Running Updates For May 27, 2014

Notes From Mangement

Things were still slow and expected to remain that way all week. Our in store sales are usually lower at the end of the month since all of the various paydays have been and the post holiday hangover isn't helping either. It has also been storming here which always keeps the appliance buyers away.

Focusing on adding inventory to the showroom and organizing the shop. Had to let one employee go for not putting in the required effort.

It could perhaps make it easier on you instead of posting everyday to use a Google spreadsheet to track everything. You could identify people by their btc address and have all relevant information (share count and basis info, etch.) then have a tab for each day tracking.  Just a thought, I could help set you up if you need any, I am an accountant.

I do use a spreadsheet to track but I don't mind posting updates. I'd normally be here to do them throughout the day but I was taking advantage of the holiday and rain to do some major reorganizing so I spent the last few days in the shop. That and running around looking for parts for a broken air hose on the 18 wheeler trailer.

Three trailers have been called in and we had one down so couldn't move on any of them. Just got it fixed but due to scheduling had to rent a U-Haul to unload one of the local stores. Has us shorthanded so I will be short on updates until this evening.

This looks interesting. So you sell washing machine parts and various appliances ?
Are you still looking for investors?

Yes and yes. I will normally post ongoing updates but I lost a warehouse worker and had another tech take some time off this week so I have been in the warehouse non stop.

The daily reports missing from this week are being updated now and I have extra help coming Monday so things should be back on track.

Thanks
