This project was abandoned by the original developer leaving IPO investors and miners holding the bag on a stuck blockchain
Yarkol and myself felt it more a noble deed to rescue this coin than start a new one. I have been a part of a few rescue efforts. I feel this is a much Better thing than trolling people over their losses. This coin was heavily Premined and had a large IPO. This project was taken on as a learning experience and to help relieve the losses those who invested both time and money. We will be as transparent as possible and hope to bring good things to the future of this coin and community that may grow around it...

Yes we will do some giveaways there are also some faucets we are just getting things in order to revive this coin as it has been virtually dormant for around a month

 LOVE for the very first time...


LoveCoin was originally Scrypt/PoS
(the last few pages of the original thread tell the whole drama), and
Scrypt mining is still possible for a
couple of days, and then Pure PoS will kick in.

We are currently around block 19806 and switch occurs at block
22068. The last block has a special reward.

What future will hold:

Our first priority is to get back on exchanges, we will very soon
have a better block explorer, faucets and contests.

The core idea is to present LOVE as a token of affection that can
be used at dating sites, in connection of giving
Valentine's / Mothers / Fathers day cards etc.

The next version 1.8 is already in preliminary planning stage.
LoveCoin will then implement a modified form of Proof-of-Transaction
introduced by Fluttercoin, unless we come up with something even
more exciting, but right now this is the direction that the tech development
is going.

In a nutshell, this is a resurrection of a rather plain altcoin that
nonetheless was aligned with a very nice, very positive theme, and
we have pledged to make it soar.

As far as I know the old Dev does still have some of the premine which wasent handed out and some of the IPO, more than likely it was sold when pollinex first put love up there.... The old devs an ass who left a nice coin to rott.  We as a community are gonna revive this coin and yes the old Dev might make a little more off it if he's still holding but screw him this is a NEW lovecoin and as for the IPO holders they deserve a coin with a value anyway right??

I have been in communication about the premine with LoveCoinProject, the original
coin operator.

In my view the bulk of the remaining premine should be reconstituted
as a transparent development fund.

Once we have the fund, it will be fully accountable; its balances will be available
at LoveCoins.info together with the stated purpose of each transaction.
The community will have a say in how the funds are managed.

It is bit early to speak about the details, but I mention this since the subject
came up.
