I won't make a pool for this coin until they give full source code on github. I'll never use a .zip file... why are we forced to use a .zip file  Looks suspicious to me. It doesn't compile... you need to do the following: make a folder "happycoin" copy the "share" folder from every other coin you like into this happycoin folder now make a subfolder "happy" in this happycoin folder git pull the source into this happy subfolder now you can compile it.. the source is missing the "genbuild.sh" bat file which lies in the share folder... Honestly, if the developer can't get the github correct, forget it. How many coins have we seen that PoS won't even start and the devs can't fix it. We have to draw the line somewhere. I know what you mean binary, i had free slots, a well known user of my pool(s) asked me to add it - so i added it .. This minor bug with the source was nothing special, there is always a "chmod +x leveldb/build_detect_platform" or a "mkdir obj" to do with the latest coin releases.. So as long as I see no malicious code in the source - I see no problem from my side.. Devs' aren't pool ops Dev are not pool ops but having half of the source code and be forced to fix it myself, even as a user i don't like this and find it's not serious / professional. |
