http://time.com/104508/u-s-charges-chinese-government-officials-with-cyber-espionage/http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-27475324The US has charged five Chinese army officers with hacking into private-sector American companies in a bid for competitive advantage, in the first cyber-espionage case of its kind.
Attorney General Eric Holder said the alleged breaches were "significant" and demanded "an aggressive response".
US prosecutors say the officers stole trade secrets and internal documents from five companies and a labour union.
China denied the charges and warned the case would harm US-China relations. You what? They actually taking the piss with this? I literally don't understand the gall of the USG .

Its about time we did something about this. The Chinese have been stealing American intellectual property for many years. It seems to be in their blood. Just go to Chinatown in NYC and get the latest movie releases.

Are you bring serious? I suppose it's ok to spy on the world as long as you're not stealing their copyrights and intellectual property?

So China's mad because we caught them stealing our trade secrets. And very likely we won't do much more than slap the wrists of those Chinese officers. Everybody, if you're going to get mad about this, quit buying products that are made in China.

The point is the laughable hypocrisy and double-standards of America. And they won't do shit to the Chinese especially since they wouldn't ever hand them over. All this does is weaken relations between China and the US whilst the rest of the world is just laughing at America for pulling this stunt.

Considering what US have done to other countries. This spying incident from China isn't even on the same scale.

They just like to move some attention on this to China to let their own spyprograms look less bad. Personally I think the NSA is a horrortale.

Yes, China is horrible. They don't care about any international copyright law. They copy everything they can and use it like they invented it. They probably stole everything they are accused for and much more. And what we can do about it? Nothing.

What can we do about America spying on us all? Nothing. America probably only knows about the spying because they were spying on the Chinese.

Wow, Edward snowden said the US was doing this same exact thing to companies like Siemens (a German company), but he was waiting for Greenwald to release the documents after thorough journalistic review

You could live on an island without electronics and not be spied on. I think any smartphone has a backdoor so NSA can listen in if it's lying on the table. It's rediculous. But the same is valid for any computer with a microphone/webcam.

The U.S. government is a great example of noise without substance. First they place sanctions on Putin's friends, but not Putin himself. Now they indict people who will never suffer a moment's distress. Why not indict the head of the Commuity party in China? Why indict the soldiers and not Xi Jinping? Or maybe this is what Obama referred to as being "more flexible" after the election. You know: appear to be doing something when actually he's doing nothing.

US has satellite imagery system and can probably see what you do everyday from the sky if you are important enough.
