30 mill it´s not to much comparing with the daily volume on a lot of BTC exchanges like BTC-E or Bitstamp. In BTC-E the daily volume it´s more than 3 mill.

Bufffet is 83 years old... in 5 years?...... maybe he should invest in life extending technologies.. Warren Buffet will not invest in anything I believe. He has amassed a lot of wealth. And he might be more worried about maintaining it as such, rather than increasing it.

Compare Richard Branson with Warren Buffet. The first one is tech savvy, and always open to new and innovative ideas. The second one (was) a genius, 20 years ago, and belongs to the old school. Let's see who will be more successful in the next 5 years. Bufffet is 83 years old... in 5 years?...... maybe he should invest in life extending technologies.. LOL

Sounds very interesting.. but can you be sure this is real and not fake..because i am not sure about it. If it is true ,this really can help bitcoin price to go up.

Great news for bitcoin. Even the successful businessman Branson will invest $30m in btc. More people will be aware of the existence of bitcoin and accept it.

Man, I should have bought some bitcoins when I reported the news. A single bitcoin was a little over $350...look at it now 1BTC = $573.101!

Haha, not sure how much of that had to do with the news, and how much had to do with the fact that bitcoins had just flash crashed to $350 and were bound to recover some lost ground.

The exciting thing is that people that obviously know how to acquire great wealth are betting on bit coin. I suspect 2014 will be a watershed year for us.

Market values of any currency...virtual or traditional, are often go up and down based on speculation. Bitcoin had a simi-crash after Mt.Gox went down and now experiencing a surge after a few big investors invested a bunch!

i think he meant that it would be difficult to prove that the big investors caused anything since bitcoin had just seen a massive fall, was heavily oversold, and due for a correction upward. so it likely had little to do with any good news.
