There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

look on mtgoxlive. see the jagged cliffs on the ask side? that entire mass was put up since the last dump and hasn't budged. all manipulated.

I am not sure, I know that the manipulators want everything to be unpredictible.

I figured before we go below $5.00, the manipulators will try and do a rally. I think this was what happened yesterday when we went to the high $5's. The rally never had any wings so I think we will be testing the $5's soon.

Volume has been very low lately also.
