So i dont know anything about mining except the basics since i am using bitcoins for almost a year now.
My question is if there is a simple miner for windows and/or linux that you can simply run, put the info of your pool and mine. I dont care about giving me the 100% of my gpu. i just want lets say to mine 0.1 BTC. just for fun.
btw i have a ati gt525m video card

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

gt525m? hahahha. don't bother. it will take forever (2+ weeks, 24/7) to mine 0.1 btc. might as well buy some.

Try bitminter, see my sig. Its extremely easy to use (java webbased, dont even need an account if you have a google account), but of course, that wont change the fact it wont make you rich

believe it or not, some people are not doing this for profit. I started out mining with cpu mining, and that got me more hooked on the concept of bitcoin, not on the concept of making coins to sell on markets.
