we have 2,000,000,000,000 coins, but only two decimals. So wider adoption means more coins in this case

reason of no pre-ANN is that we didn't want to make a noise before having everything ready and thus avoid postponing launch dates as it happens Of course we are mining to hold the network for security reasons, but all we mine until tomorrow evening will be sent to seeding fund as provided here in news. Everything can be tracked through the website so that it stays transparent in every way.

Yes you are right the team is wide, everybody focuses on different tasks. I believe there is a lot of things going on, you may check our projects HERE. There is also wide media coverage HERE is an example, but the mainstream and massive coverage is being prepared.

Yes there certainly are reasons for that, as we mentioned in the upper reply, the main reason is that the currency uses only two decimal places so imagine most of the coins that have 8 decimal places had only 2, most of them would have over a trillion of coins.
