I'd pay off my mortgage, buy a brand new fully done out Camaro, buy my mother a new car of her choice. Since she lives with me, I'd make the house more accessible for her as well.  The rest would go into investments, and yes, bitcoin would be one of them.

Investing everything into one investment is a very stupid thing to do.  Do you honestly think you can sink 1 million into bitcoin and get that 1 million or more back as fiat so easy?  You're going to have a pretty hard time buying a house with bitcoin at the moment.

I would only get 30 acres in a desolate valley here, on a property which has been uninhabitated for decades and is owned by god knows who. .  Probably some rich old German broad with Nazi gold (serious - they bought mountain ranches all over the Americas).

i'd probably only spend 10% of my money, the other 90% goes away for safekeeping and investments. i'm not supercheap, but it's more important to me to secure enough money to never have to work again.. than it is to live an opulent lifestyle.
