I would do absolutely nothing with it, other than stick it into a secured bank. FDIC only insures up to $250k, so maybe 4 banks.

Really, in reality, I'd look at CDs / other ways to earn a bit more interest off the money stably. My living expenses are about $20k a year, so if I could generate even 2% annually, I'd be able to live off the interest alone, for now.

In the long run it would still be much better to doing something to earn the money to pay your living expenses since it's much better to have that interest compounding and making your more money in the long run. If you just take it all out you end up costing yourself more money in the long run which you'll need eventually at some point in your life anyway since inflation is going to eat away at you year after year.

Sounds like a good plan!

I would buy multi family property about a 450k one with no less then 8 units. I would live in one for free and collect rent on the rest, I would wait till next BTC low, buy a 100k in coins or so and sit on the rest of the money.

7 units times 650$ = 4550 - upkeep of 1.5k would give you a income of around 3k a month + free housing Smiley.

I would invest in anything I could get my hands on.

I would buy multi family property about a 450k one with no less then 8 units. I would live in one for free and collect rent on the rest, I would wait till next BTC low, buy a 100k in coins or so and sit on the rest of the money.

Don't you have to pay property taxes every year? And don't forget about security, fixers, etc.

I would take 1/4 of it and go build a school or make a few jobs for people that dont have the same opportunities that we dont have.  I Wanna go give laptops to kids without parents, I want to play secret santa for kids with cancer and would also make a few businesses so I can keep on giving back.  I would jjust wanna live comfortable and help others.

200k to parents

200k in building a self-sustainable household in the middle of nowhere with the most basic things, powered by solar, smart building (with a greenhouse for growing stuff (that may or may not earn me profits))

100k in a Tesla Car

50k in solar cells

100k in gold and silver burried in a secret location in the house.

200k (100k in bitcoin and the rest in other alts (lite, dark,NXT,whatever)

5k in building an awesome PC (with multiple monitors, etc)

145k (the rest I'd keep in a couple of bank accounts for my everyday living)

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

A new house? For a million dollars? A tiny house in the middle of nowhere, maybe, but even that doesn't leave much change. Fucking real estate bubble.
It depends on where you live.In most Asian countries you can have a huge house for this money.

I would use the money to give back to others and pass on the kindness that has been shown to me throughout my life.
I would use it to end or at least decrease world hunger and I would use it for other important causes.
Money won't buy you happiness but it can be used to make others happy and show love.

i think at this point i would just give my mom some money, maybe $30k, pay off my loans, and take out $30k to travel for 1-2 years. the rest i'd just leave in investments/bank/bitcoins. a house is nice and all, but it might not be the best thing to own at this point in time.
