Considering where I live, I'd buy the whole damn city with it. Only if I knew how to count that high...

In memorial of the soon to be dead...

You will have 1,000,000$ in 20years when it is worth a tiny fraction of what is is worth today and you may play it on Black Grin

I would buy the OP a caps lock key.
Also , if you ask how to spend money on a Bitcoin forums , you are going to get 99% Bitcoin related answers.

For me it would be :- 200k college , 500k Bitcoin , 200k other investments , 100k fun stuff

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.

It's rather interesting when you look at prices. For example, you could buy a 500 sq ft condo in New York for the same price as you could buy a 5000 sq ft house on 20 acres of land, with a pool, private stocked pond, and a lot of other really nice things in the midwest.

Your island wouldn't earn you anything, though. :p

Fat chance -- it's gonna cost a million bucks just to upgrade the forum. Probably worth quite a bit more than that, realistically.

Ad spots have been sold for 27BTC this week so 1400BTC annualized, the forum could be worth 14,000BTC

The potential revenue from the forum far exceed 1,400BTC so I bet the price would be much higher

Also, it is the premier forum for bitcoin, whose community itself is growing exponentially. There is so much value in that potential as well.
