I am a windows guy, but for mining I have used Linuxcoin and BAMT. One thing other than being a complete ZERO when it comes to Linux that pisses me off is every now and then...more often then not, I have to reimage my usb key. I reboot and all of a sudden nothing works. USB is corrupt so I need to start from scratch. I have tried various different USB keys and eventually I have to redo the image and fix the config files.

I have read that I am not the only person to have these problems.

What is the best way to save your USB key to and image and reimige it when it does eventually get corrupt?

The tool that you used to image BAMT onto your flash drive also has a "read" function that will make an image for you.

It's Win32 Img Writer (https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer) just in case you didn't follow Aaron Wolf's tut.
