I no longer support this coin due to lack of interest and because my "team members" have cheated on me, I'm done with this project.
There is too much happened for me to continue with this, hope other people can get the work done better than I did.
If you think you can get ratcoin a better life then make me an offer and you can have everything.

RatCoin started as a fun project, and at a certain point I was about to leave this coin at the very beginning. But now everything has changed.
It's getting more serious now, especially if you know that your coin can do something good for retailers.
I am giving 100% for this coin, and also I'm hoping to get another dev to join this project very soon, if he have the time for it.

Our targets with RatCoin are getting retailers to accept RATC as optional payment method, because it's fast, safe, and very easy to use.
This month we have planned some meetings with several pet stores, they seem to be open for it, but they need to be convinced as they don't know anything about crypto.

What we will do is explain everything in detail, about how it work, what crypto is, how they can benefit, why it is safe to use, etc.
You can't just visit retailers and tell them " Hi! I am MR X, please accept RatCoin as payment method, thanks and bye. "
We have to demonstrate and explain everything in order to get them to like the whole idea of RatCoin.

On the moment we're concentrating on Pet & Toy stores, if we can get atleast a few retailers onboard, then we will hire devs to develop Android + iOS wallet apps.
Once we think the time is right we will also contact other markets.

Update 07-06-2014 :
We had an interesting meeting with a Pet shop owner, he is very willing to accept in atleast 1 of his stores RATC as optional payment method.
This is the first step in the right direction, we have scheduled another meeting with this retailer to learn them everything about crypto.
We will explain what crypto is, how their shop can benefit, and also that it is very safe and easy and won't cost them any effort to maintain the system.

No we didn't pay these in 1 hour, as you should know, but apparently you don't, we launched on May 18th, throughout the days we paid for, pools, mac wallet, block explorer, etc.

I mined a bit of Rat on the first day of launch (May 18th)  the last thread had 4 pages before it got deleted.  The first day there was about 10 GH on the network.  The largest person mining in the pool I used had just under 1 GH.
