Need help with a calculation on lifetime mining duration

What is the mathematical formula used to determine the mining life-cycle of a coin?

I am trying to approximately figure out how long it will take, based on coin specs, until a coin has been 100% mined.

For the initial part, should just be (Total coins that will be generated) / (Block reward) X (Block Time)
