around 8-9 minutes they are talking about the bank bailouts and high leverage.

I am so glad that in Bitcoin the losers dont get bailed out.  Free market =  survival of the fittest.

That's not really true.  In a Bitcoin economy, governments can still bail out all the losers they want with as many BTC they have.

Also don't forget that MtGox bailed out bitomat.

mtgox used their own money to bail bitomat out. they didnt create a bunch of coins out of nowhere.
