I'm stuck with Homer  But yeh since that hack was most-likely a backdoor placed way earlier and the avatar code was audited a bit more, in theory it could be enabled again. But I can understand theymos worry just in case there is still a bug in it. IMO, at least "choosing an avatar" could be enabled (without the uploading part.) I'm sure that if the code is fully Audited, then everything will be fine... Also, I'm using Fry on pretty much everywhere else... Liam |

For now it is not possible to change your avatar. You see the ones with avatar have a higher ranking than me (Full member, Senior member) and I'm here for about 2 or 3 months now. The ones who have an avatar set it about 5 months ago or earlier. The setting is disabled for now  |

Correct. And its so cute as well, no idea why he want to lose it, but I'm an elephant lover. Got one tattooed on my arm lol the elephant is cute and it's better than what i have! ....NOTHING lol his avatar is the elephant coin logo. Still trying to figure out why elephantcoin have been created, maybe to give to elephants a way to exchange stuff through internet? |

Theymos has said he'll remove them for users who don't want theirs but wont change them to something else. Wait i know this is retarded to ask, but how is this a bug? and how comes it not fixed?
Apparently some malicious code was uploaded via the avatar feature so it was disabled. Avatars probably wont be coming back until the new forum software. |
