Hi, i haven't checked this thread in a while, but that is an excellent idea. I will ask them to do so. Since the forensic recovery i have not had a client in need of that service so far.
What is more common however is a wallet.dat replacement/wallet re-synchronizing. Some people devalue this work because it is simple to them, but it is important to note that while we all are dealing with Crypto-Currencies, file systems are not everyone's forte.
99% of wallets are housed in Appdata/Application Support directories, but making sure the wallet syncs up with a user's backed up Wallet.dat can face these issues:
1)Remnants of previous blockchain due to improperly deleted appdata components.
2)Bad and/or needed nodes in .conf file.
3)Conf file needed to be permissioned correctly in order to be read.
4)Fear of messing up, and you want a tech that will not lose your coins that you worked hard for.
