First dedicated miner

1 5970 (my second one turned out to be a dud need to get my money back here)
2 5870's

total spent $820 (had a few parts layin around)

1545mh @ 700w average. (according to my ups that the rig is plugged into)

still need to do some fine tuning on the cards.. i think i have a few more mh to go but i havent oc'd the 5870's at all, and the 5970 just a lil.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

How many hashes for each card?
What miner software are you running?

I wonder if there is a thread to post your card stats in?

For Bitcoin to be a true global currency the value of BTC needs always to rise.
If BTC became the global currency & money supply = 100 Trillion then ⊅1.00 BTC = $4,761,904.76.

you def have room for improvement. 5870 can do about 396 at stock core speed (memory underclocked of course, sitting at 330 atm), and about 503 at 1100 core. you should be able to extrapolate a "theoretical" mhash for each gpu core using those numbers since mhash almost always scales linearly with core

System won't even come up when its plugged into the board. Like it doesn't recognize there is a graphics card at all. Or there is a short cause it won't come up even if I have the other cards plugged in

honestly i thought it was shorting my powersupply cause after a few seconds it would kick off entirely and require a physical reset to get it working again

Reading around the threads your 5870's should be able to get 430-450 MH/s, you can probably expect similar results from 5970.
If you take the lower number, your current setup should be able to gain another 130 MH/s. Core clock and memory they were discussing, 950 core @ 300 mem, 925 core @ 300 mem.

My set up will be similar to what you have, so tweaking you do will be of interest to me once I'm up and running.  Smiley
Just waiting for the PSU to get here.
