Hey everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone out there would ever be interested in IT consulting in exchange for BTC.

I am a Sr Network architect specializing in emerging technologies (primarily Wireless and Voice).  I have experience in 7 countries, 4 languages, and almost any networking side technology especially Cisco products.

I can do
RF planning for 802.11 networks, 900mhz networks, and most other types of wireless data (even some Cellular stuff but that would most likely be handled by your carrier)
assemble a bill of materials together for most types of projects (everything from Data center builds, to small medium or home offices)
Switch configuration
Router configuration
Firewall configuration
Wireless access point configuration
Wireless LAN Controller configuration
Cisco Call manager setup, configuration, or architecture for any size business. (I have done architecture work for 2 fortune 500 companies, 3 banks, and 1 major international candy manufacturer)
Cisco contact center configurations

God the list is so long...

I can even review scopes of work, and give advice on changes that should be made and so on.

in closing rates would be dependent on what you are asking me to do.. and what is involved and the length of the contract.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

what would you like? I can say that I was one of the Sr Voice architects on the west coast for BT (British Telecom) and have also done other large scale consulting positions for other well known IT consulting firms (TIG, Enpointe, and BT)

I think most ppl wants to see some more proof, before handing over root access for a server to a more or less random forum user Smiley

I need a backup system setup, but security-wise handing out access to a server is a bit, emm, risky.

i dont disagree with that one bit Smiley

I just would like to know what people are looking for for proof? and to be honest I dont see a need to toss my information out there if no one is interested.

if anyone is interested.. let me know I will be happy to talk about my qualifications with you, show you my resume, even provide references Smiley
