Hi, I'm in the process of setting up derspo.com soshnet.net I'm just posting here to raise awareness. This is a bitcoin business but not a very traditional one, I do not need investors I already have hosting. What I am trying to do is create a successful general forum with a twist, each month a random user name will be PMed by the admin and been told they have won last month's lottery the PM will also request a bitcoin address. They will then have a certain length of time (probably a week) to reply, if they do in time they get 80% of that months ad revenue. To encourage activeness the posts are related to "shares" and odds of winning, points will not be recieved for one word replies though. Like I said I'm just in the begining stages of development, I'm just posting to see if anyone would be interested in something like this.

tl;dr Would you be interested in a forum that pays you for activeness?

probably anytime from this monday to a week from this monday. I also am planning a drawing of 1 btc or so at the two week up mark just to attract more members at the begining, because getting off the ground is the hardest part.

Hi soshnet is up! Pronounced s-oh-sh-net it stands for social network, right now I'm mainly concentrating on the forums but I do have a joomla and jfusion connecting mybb 1.6 and elgg 1.8. With that said I would like to talk to you about bugs, DO NOT register from http://soshnet.net/mybb or /elgg ONLY register from the index page. I have not yet worked out the disabling of registration of the other sites, but they will not sync up if you register elsewhere.

Now let's get to why you should join. Plain and simple I respect privacy, there will be no analytics on my site tracking you and all ads will either be static, through operation fabulous or through anonymous ads.  Secondly we pay 80% of our ad revenue in bitcoin to users. This gives you the added bonus of knowing by posting and ensuring my forum is successful you spread the word about bitcoin. To jump start my forum two weeks from today I will be holding a drawing for 1 btc, normally though I will only hold a lottory the first of the month for 80% of our past months ad revenue; the chances of winning are directly linked to your post count for that time period.
