I'd love some sort of notification if say one of my posts were deleted or removed. Just knowing it happened can allow me to correct my actions.

For example, I did notice that one of my posts were removed for warning a newbie user that trying to pay for bitcoin via paypal probably wasn't the best idea right away. It seems that is frowned upon, so I guess my post was deleted. At least some warning / notification that my post went away would have been nice.

Was it in a self moderated topic?

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I do not believe so, however that's just an example... I'd like to know when my words are deleted / modified / moved / anything.

Just a PM would do.

I know there's a plugin / something for the forums that can allow this.

it's probably more clicks, and the mods are probably overloaded as it is.. perhaps an automated version would be good?

That's what I was looking for. An automatic version of notification of a moderator action. I wasn't expecting a moderator to actually have to PM someone manually everytime they delete / moderate a post.

- You will get a PM if one of your replies is individually deleted (even in self-moderated topics).
- None of your posts have been individually deleted since 2012.
- The post you're talking about is gone because the topic was deleted.

Thanks theymos. I wonder which post was deleted in 2012. Hmm.
