Apple Pulls No. 1 Game "Weed Firm" From The App Store

http://techcrunch.com/2014/05/21/apple-pulls-number-one-game-weed-firm-from-the-app-store/

<< Apple has pulled the No. 1 game in the U.S., called "Weed Firm", from the App Store. The game, which had been described as something of a "Grand Theft Auto" for the marijuana-minded, allowed players to grow and sell weed, interact with gangsters, and earn lots of dough for their drug-dealing activities. >>

It's only a game, Apple is being overly cautious. Unless the game was so precise on how to get the seeds and grow the plant, and may be where to sell the weed, it should be restored. I can see the dev's point, Grand Theft Auto is criminal simulator game, and App Store seems to be ok with it.

Apple has always been fond of censorship. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship_by_Apple Fanboys will say it is their platform and they can do what they want with it, but the fact is the companies and customers are not free with these phones.

It was probably an idea of their "genius team".
