Custom BIOS R9 290 @990kh/s

hello everyone i just wanted to share with you my custom bios for sapphire r9 290 that gives 980-990kh/s

dunno i run them on standard R9 290
to be more specific it's this one

i guess it's possible to load it on custom, i never tried it
to load it, the only way i know is this one

download their bios zipped file
you'll find the instruction how to update any bios the file is in power point format
and the utility is named flash.exe

but i am sure there is other way to load new bios on your GPU
perhps someone from the forum could guide you better for that
anyway i use the software given by sapphire to load bios

I have six of these cards and they certainly run much hotter than the 280x cards I have.

This custom BIOS can you please tell us what you did? Memory timings? Undervolt?

What temps are you running mining scrypt?

i don't know i just got it from a mate who run a farm of 60 R9 290

but you can check it by yourself with the right program and tell us what you find
i didn't even asked him about that, hope it helps

dunno who is stilt i just wanted to share a bios i received 2 weeks ago and with it i could get 980kh instead of 830kh with my 290
