This is practically an effect of 1 BTC = 1200 USD in mid-nov 13 when the media jumped in with multiple stories. If u can get the pics of Sept 13 & Jan 14, u'll probably get the same difference in almost 4 month.

Its the number of companies accepting bitcoin as payment.  The knife&fork is a restaurant, not sure about the others. All information is taken from coinmap.org
